In JDT’s annual concert we will celebrate the full scope of the season, past, future and present, by presenting new and classic JDT repertory from artistic director Rebecca R. Levy, resident choreographer Kristen Sholes Sullivan, and commissioned artists Susan Dodge, Bliss Kohlmyer, and James Morrow. The art of dance embodies unity and interconnectedness, reflecting the collaborative efforts of dancers, choreographers, musicians, and designers who come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. This collaboration highlights the diversity and versatility of dance, as performers navigate various modern styles, genres, and themes, crafting a rich expression. Through this intricate weaving of narratives, emotions, and experiences, dance resonates deeply with audiences, creating a profound and lasting impact.
